A 24-year-old hoping to be a gestational carrier was repeatedly disqualified because her records indicated a past history of ITP. After she met with the Ouma team at the infertility physician's request, and a thorough review of records, it was determined the ITP diagnosis had been entered as a medical error, and she did not in fact have it.
