Work with Ouma

Ouma Health is an independent, physician-led maternity telehealth practice, founded and led by maternal-fetal medicine physicians. We are a medical practice first; the technology exists to support the care, not the other way round.

Our clinicians work across state lines to reach patients who would otherwise drive hours for subspecialty care, or go without it. Ouma is licensed to practice in all 50 states, and a single clinician routinely sees patients in several of them in a day.

How the clinical team works

Care is delivered by employed and contracted clinicians of the practice: board-certified maternal-fetal medicine physicians, certified nurse-midwives, registered nurses, perinatal behavioral health clinicians, diabetes educators, lactation consultants and addiction medicine specialists. Every MFM consult is with a board-certified subspecialist.

Clinicians are supported by an operations, credentialing and engineering team. Licensure and credentialing are handled in-house, which is why Ouma can add states quickly and why a clinician joining the practice does not have to manage that themselves.

Most of what we do is tele-MFM consults and co-management, OB ultrasound interpretation, remote monitoring and telemidwifery, for hospitals, clinics, FQHCs, midwifery practices, health plans and employers.

Current openings

We do not have any roles posted right now. That is not the same as not wanting to hear from you — get in touch anyway, and we will keep your details for when something opens.

We are especially glad to hear from board-certified maternal-fetal medicine physicians, certified nurse-midwives, perinatal nurses, and behavioral health clinicians licensed in more than one state — but the list is not a filter. If you think you would be useful to a practice like this one, write to us and say so.

Use the contact form and tell us you are writing about a role, so it reaches the right people rather than our partnerships inbox.
